Dr. Jeffrey Tanner Mount, Georgetown’s Premier Orthodontist
From an early age, Dr. Tanner Mount knew he wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes as a toddler, he spent much of his childhood around physicians whose compassion and care left a lasting impression on him. As he explored different healthcare careers in college, orthodontics stood out as the perfect combination of science, artistry, and meaningful relationships.
Today, Dr. Mount is passionate about creating life-changing smiles while building genuine connections with the families he serves throughout his hometown of Georgetown, helping patients gain confidence during some of the most important years of their lives.

Dr. Mount believes great orthodontic care starts with clear communication, personalized recommendations, and taking the time to explain every step of treatment. Whether a patient is beginning braces, Invisalign®, or a more complex orthodontic procedure, Dr. Mount makes sure they understand what is happening, why it's happening, and what they can expect along the way.
His goal has always been to create an orthodontic practice where patients feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the decisions they're making. Rather than rushing appointments, he focuses on building long-term relationships with families throughout Georgetown while delivering exceptional clinical care.

Education
A Georgetown High School salutatorian, he graduated magna cum laude from Baylor University with a rare triple major in Accounting, Biology, and Business Fellows, through Baylor's prestigious honors business program. He then graduated near the top of his dental school class before completing his orthodontic specialty training at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston, one of the nation's most competitive orthodontic residency programs.
Today, Dr. Mount is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to clinical excellence and lifelong learning.

When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, you’ll usually find Dr. Mount spending time with his wife and their three children. Whether he’s coaching youth sports, attending games, or enjoying basketball, soccer, lacrosse, tennis, or golf, he loves staying active alongside his family.
Giving back and honoring Christ also remain an important part of his life. Dr. Mount has participated in numerous international mission trips, including several where he provided dental care for children in need in Guatemala. This is where he developed his conversational dental Spanish.
Closer to home, he remains deeply involved in Georgetown through school partnerships, youth athletics, church participation, and community sponsorships. Being able to serve the town where he grew up is one of the reasons he chose to open Mount Orthodontics in Georgetown.
